Ugly

Memoirs and biographies are some of my favorites! This book first caught my eye a few months back when I was flipping through the Scholastic book flyers. Immediately, I thought of the book "Wonder" when I initially read the back cover. While this book was not as well written, it still carried a strong message that was very impactful. Robert Hoge details the difficult hand he was dealt as a young boy growing up with many health issues and facial deformities. Despite numerous hardships, he accomplishes great things. His story serves as in inspiration to all.
