The Perfect Mother 

"The Perfect Mother" by Aimee Molloy is exactly what you would expect...one of those trendy thrillers with a shocking and chilling twist in the end. While I found it to be similar to books such as, "The Girl on the Train" and "Gone Girl," I still believe it to be worth reading. Aimee Molloy generates a story around a group of first time mothers called, "The May Mothers." The women in the group meet together frequently to discuss their pregnancy and nervousness about being a mom. While they're a tight nit group with a strong bond over shared circumstances, one night out to themselves reveals that it's not all what it may seem. With an investigation underway for the abduction of one of "The May Mother's" new baby, the women band together to investigate and uncover shocking secrets. Take this book to the beach and get lost in the twist and turns of "The Perfect Mother."
