The Oracle Year

This was one of my first books that I ordered from The Book of the Month and I was very pleased with their selection. I also picked "The Heart's Invisible Furies" with this order and I am very much looking forward to reading that one as well. Anyways...wow, this book was a page turner. I finished this book in two days and it definitely kept me guessing. It was very well written and I found myself empathizing with main character Will Dando's difficulty with having an understanding of future events and what to do with that power. While I wouldn't necessarily call this a sci-fi book, at times it felt like it with all the twist and turns the characters had to endure. I would absolutely recommend this book to people who are looking for a thriller/sci-fi/page turner, quick read. A great book to bring to the beach!
