The Lunar Chronicles

As per a recommendation from my best friend, I decided to jump into "The Lunar Chronicles" this past week. I was a bit skeptical at first, because I am not into books that develop into romance novels, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that while romance was intertwined, the plot carried a futuristic Disney princess vibe instead. As you can probably guess from the covers, each novel details a sci-fi, futuristic, take on infamous Disney characters such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Snow White. As the series continues, each character's story morphs into the next as the characters join together to save Earthens from the dreaded Queen Levana of planet Luna and her attempt to rule Earth as well. While this series was more young adult, I found it hard to put down!
