Notes from My Travels: Visits with Refugees in Africa, Cambodia, Pakistan and Ecuador

"Notes from My Travels" by Angelina Jolie is one of my all time favorites. Although it was published in 2003, it was a very eye opening read that allows readers a glimpse into the life of a refuge. This book is a collection of Angelina Jolie's diary entries from her trips to Africa, Cambodia, Pakistan, and Ecuador. With a goal of bringing the true, raw experiences of refuges to light for the American people, Jolie shares the stories of various families living within the refuge camps.
