Before The Fall

Honestly, this one was kind of a let down for me. I had a hard time connecting with the characters, which made keeping up with them difficult. When I initially read the synopsis for this book, I was intrigued, and stoked to purchase it on my nook because at the time it was only $3 for this New York Times Bestseller! Before The Fall is all about a private plane crash in the Atlantic in which two powerful multi millionaires and their families, were onboard. Just as the title implies, following the devastating crash, the book goes backwards and reveals what was happening in each character's personal life before they boarded the flight that changed everything. 

In the beginning, I really enjoyed Scott's character and his relationship with JJ, but I quickly became bored of him and is constant questioning of himself and what I felt to be, "the meaning of everything." I did actually enjoy bits and pieces of Eleanor's character.
