What begins as a hobby...

For as long as I can remember, I have been a reader. Last Christmas my Mom showed me home videos where she was able to catch me on tape reading nonsense words from picture books to my favorite stuffed animals. From there, my love for reading only grew. 

From Hobby to Passion

My passion for reading has evolved to include many genres and topics. I feel as though I have grown more as a person each time I finish a book because I have learned either about a new culture, species, or important person; or have gained a new perspective based on the characters of a fictitious plot. Reading has opened many new doors for me and continues to inspire me to always be open to new experiences and knowledge.
